The client wanted to develop a workflow management platform to automate the ship change request documents to execute the change more effectively. Ship change document contains the information about the entire ship such as details about the parts of the ship, gathered from various authorities responsible of that particular ship. These details include information about the parts to be disposed, changed or repaired and their respective cost.

We provided a web based workflow management software that allows automating a business process, where a generated ship change document has to be passed from one user to another user via task assignments. Each user in the path of the defined workflow votes on the document expressing their views.

Documents submitted to the respective authority through a workflow cycle, are reviewed by the defined users until the document is either rejected or approved without any communication delay. Users with appropriate access (Single sign-on authentication) can track these documents and their current.
